LG VX-6000
No one can hear me
I just got several refurbished LG vx6000 phones for a club and several members complain that the person they're calling 😢 can't hear them. All other functions work. I'm thinking maybe there's a setting that needs to be changed? Any help would be appreciated.

when they are in a call, make sure the word on the bottom right of the screen is "mute". this shows that the phone is "un-muted". if you were to push the key below the word, it would activate whatever the word is.
example...
pushing the upper right key (the one below the lower right corner of the screen) when "mute" is written in that space, will put the phone on mute mode, similar to hold where you can hear the person, but they cannot hear you. Pushing the same key again (it will say un-mute if the phone is muted) will un-mute the phone, and the person on the other end will hear your call.
If that doesn't do it, call the person you got them from cause they are bum phones.

Sometimes after I use my headset on this phone, I can't hear anything and they can't hear me. It's almost as if the phone still thinks there's a headset plugged in. I stick my headset in and out of my phone a few times and this gets fixed. Maybe you could try this?
If you don't have a cellphone headset, you can use any headphone cord i would think.
