Will it support 1x as well for those of us that travel into non 3g/ 4g areas?

voice and sms are on the 3g network. but it should be able to handle all prev. networks as well.

yes they do have areas where people still roam but its great w/the roaming coverage that they do have available b/c people won't get charged the 0.69 cents b/c we are in partnership with the other carriers. we don't charge their customers and we don't charge theirs as long as they are on one of the newer plans that we offer that have this included in it.
