HTC EVO 4G
OK PEOPLE THIS IS WHY THERE IS A 10.00 CHARGE ON THE EVO
evo 10.00 charge
-it has nothing to do with 4g if u are in a 4g area then u get 4g if u are in a 3g area u get 3g- ok thats cut and dry right
-no the 10.00 charges takes off the 5 gig cut off for the 3g so u are not being charged 0.03 for every k u use over on the phone
(ok i say someone say they already get all the 3g they want on there phone yes u do but ur still stupid for knowing nothing about the evo and what it does before talking)
-the ever is a hotspot phone -meaning that u can broadcast internet from ur phone and connect up too 8 things up too it- (fo...
(continues)
but like i said that 10.00 charge is to take the limits off the mobile hotspot
mobile hotspot limit for any other phone
5 gig and 0.03 a kil after
so meaning u can use 1 million gig's of data on mobile hotspot and not ever be charge more then 10.00 a month
this goes for 3g and 4g both
keep them comming i dont get off work till 430pm and its only 1142am
You are charge the 10 dollar fee for your evo to get unlimited data weather it is 4g or 3g...
29.99 for the wifi hotspot is optional... And that 10 dollar charge is unlimited for those devices as well.
This statement is true but not by tech support: " so meaning u can use 1 million gig's of data on mobile hotspot and not ever be charge more then 10.00 a month "
Because you are charged 29.99 for hotspot, so not ever charged more then 39.99 for unlimited data on hotspot....
I got your back tech support......
the 29.99+10.00=39.99
will give u and up to 8 other users unlimited data
Right now I'm on a low, low rate with $2.50 unlimited data for my old Sprint phone that lives in my glove box while I suffer through AT&T to use the iPhone... (gotta keep the Sprint to make calls when the CrapT&T won't).
So I'll me messaging you when I inevitably come in and get the Evo:-)
Stupid.
You state that the charge is to remove a data cap, which you then point out that other users say they don't have data caps. You then give no further explanation for the fee, but do call the people who made your point null "stupid".
Facts
I know everything I need to about the Evo (including that it's not called the ever)
I don't live in a 4G area
I don't want the hotspot feature
I don't have a data cap
why should I pay 10$ more for the same service I currently get?
I can explain the Evo fee much better than you can. Sprint knows they have the hottest device on the market (at the moment) and they are going to try to milk it. I...

First, the company line is that it's not a 4G charge, so you are correct there.
Second, there's no phone on any all-you-can-eat Sprint data price plan that caps data at 5gb/mo (aircards and embedded devices, obviously, are another story). Not a good excuse for the Evo $10 fee.
Third, the hotspot fee is an ADDITIONAL $29.99, it is not covered under the initial $10 surcharge. It's a great deal to get a hotspot with unlimited 3G/4G, but not part of the $10 itself.
In the future, lease learn to spell AND learn before YOU talk. Thank you.
