Sync with outlook
Currently have Iphone 3GS and am thinking of getting an android phone. What is the best way / software to sync with outlook contacts and calander. Both free and pay. Thanks Dan

THere's out of the box compatibility with exchange on the android. plus a combined inbox if u have multiple exchange accounts!

Thanks for the info, but im not using exchange just outlook and id hate to re-input 500 contacts and all relatives bdays and anniversaries.

There is a windows application from Samsung called Kies, but it's not bundled with the phone, and not found on the Samsung US support site. This applicaton does all kinds of syncing including Outlook contacts and calendars. I have successfully synced my contacts, but I'm having an issue getting my calendar sync, but hopeful that I'll get it figured out. The big thing was the contacts though, so I'm please overall.
To get the app you'll need to do a search for it. I didn't keep the link where I found it.

Captivate has Kies on phone.Just go to settings, applications, USB settings & their's Samsung Kies 😎
