Silencing a Incoming Text Ring tone
Just got phone and cant figure this out. I have a ringtone for when i get a text msg. Ringtone is like 20 seconds long. How can i silence the ringtone as soon as it goes off? I tried pushing side buttons touching all over screen???? Help????

There's an option in the menus for silencing alerts by fliping the phone over. I'm not sure what all this covers but it might be what you're looking for. It's the very bottom option in the Sound & Display Settings.

I would think Menno's advice would have worked. Did you try the "double tap to silence" option under sounds and display?
