An 8 MP camera is pretty much the most mega pixels offered on a smartphone at this point. Most basic phones have about a 3, most smart phones are doing about a 5 MP camera. The iPhone has a 5 MP camera, for instance (why people think it's the best phone out there iss beyond me). So yea, 8 MP Camera is SWEET! 😁

I just like how it was worded--like an 8 MP camera is a compromise. The N8 has a 12 MP camera.

We are definitely spoiled. 8MP is nothing to sneer at in a phone, let alone a decent P&S.
This looks like a great phone. A cheaper alternative to the N8 that still provides nearly every advantage of it except HDMI out and the bigger camera sensor.
