That said I had a EVO for about 3 weeks before I took it back. I just couldn't get more then 6 hours out of the battery.
Right now I am trying the MyTouch. Battery live seems better, the wifi calling helps where I live. I also go way faster 4G speeds on the MyTouch compared to the EVO.
But I liked the size of the EVO a better, plus they put the charging port in the right spot on the EVO. No clue why HTC thinks that having it on the side of the MyTouch is a good idea.
Sprint offers 30 days to try it out. Get it and if you like it keep it, if not send it return it and it cost you ...

In regards to signal, I get great 3G service where I'm at. I haven't tested the 4G speeds yet but I stay connected via WiFi in most places so I'm not too concerned about that at this point. 4G is supposed to be available in my county by Dec 1st, but my friends with EVO's say that they already get it.
Overall I'm impressed with this phone. I love the size of the phone and screen altogether. I have big hands and I hate trying to type on small...
