Samsung Droid Charge
Software Update
I was told by VZ tech support there was suppose to be a software update today for the Charge which is suppose to fix some issues.
Anyone else hear of know of this update? If so, what does it fix?

I got the update this morning.
Called Verizon to find out the fixes. The 1st thing you'll notice is now there's 5 signal strength bars on the top instead of 4. The "Seeking GPS" message that frequently appeared on navigation has been corrected. Some had problems with lag on video which this also fixes. These item are just the beginning of the list. If you call Verizon tech support, they'll review the complete list with you.

A software update is available for the DROID Charge by Samsung. The OTA update starts 6/8.

One thing I've noticed since this update is that my battery life is shorter, and now hardly any better than the Thunderbolt despite killing background tasks, disconnecting from the data network, and shortening the screen timeout.
