Had To Have Mine Replaced
Got my Droid Charge back in May a week after it came out. Last week, the display started showing faint horizontal lines top to bottom. Verizon sent me another one.
After HOURS of trying to transfer everything, I realized backing up the phone's folders to your PC and then back via the USB cable is not enough. After several calls to tech support, I finally got a Verizon Tech on the phone that knew WTF he was doing. In order to SUCCESSFULLY backup and reinstall all your apps, call log, and text messages on the replacement phone, you have to download and install SMS Backup AND App Backup & Restore from the Market ON BOTH PHONES.
