5550 Voice Recognition

Is voice dialing supposed to work when in "Manner" mode? It did on my old VX4500, but not on this LX5550....

Yes it does work, but since your in Manner Mode the vocal prompts telling you when to speak don't sound. Just count 2 seconds and say the command you wish to use.
