Currently I'm an owner of the LG VX4400 and unfortunately my phone is no longer avaiable through Verizon.. However, I have contacted Verizon and they told me that my phone will be replaced with the upcoming LG VX3200. I'm upset because this phone is nothing like the one I have now, and I've decided that I would like to purchase the LG VX4600 when it becomes available to those customers who do not need a contract.. Does anyone know when it will be available for flat out retail and by the way does it have a desk top charger? Can this phone pick up a signal in most rural areas sine it is an all digital phone?

I have the phone and live in a rural area on the East Coast. No problem yet with signal, even miles out on the beach. Great phone. 😁

Well I hate to call you all liars as you may have found a good contact, but I have spent all morning with various people at verizon and the best they would do for me is give me a $50 credit on my bill to go buy the 4600 at another non- company store!! I doubt if they would do that if in fact they have sold the phone to others from their inventory!! Just doesn't make any sense to me. Buy the way the reason I say liars is they say they checked their system and have made "0" sales of this phone to current customers that are upgrading.

Newbie here - Did my research yesterday as my V60i's mike went dead. Knowing I didn't want the camera option, I decided on the VX4600 after reading the reviews. As an existing VZW customer, I knew I might not be able to get the phone based on the stories here. Guess what - it took one phone call this morning. Phone should arrive Wednesday.
