Available at WirelessZone???
Some people here have been saying that the VX4600 is available in person at WirelessZone stores. It's indeed listed on their website, but when I went to their Solomon Pond Mall mall location in Marlborough, MA they did not have it. They said it was Internet-only for everyone, because it was distributed and serviced through a third party. They also claimed no Verizon store or technician would service it, and any repair or exchange issues would have to be done by mail. Sounded kind of fishy to me, but you never know...
Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I purchased the 4600 at the Rockingham Mall store and dealt w/Andrea. She was very helpful and I was charged the same price that VZ Wireless was charging on-line ($69.99). She had to order the phone for me which took a few days and I had to pick it up at their location, they cannot ship directly to customers, atleast the phone they can't. I would ask for Andrea and see if they can still do that. Are you not able to order it on the verizonwireless.com site? I thought it was now available for upgrades?
Hope this helps!

Me too, I bought it at Wireless Zone in Flatbush, Brooklyn N.Y. The guy gave me very good service and price.

I wanted to see one in person before I bought it, but these folks didn't have one for display. They did offer to match my corporate discount on the 7000 ($209), but I had driven 30 minutes specifically to see the 4600 they had advertised. I wasn't about to give them my business after that. Their cautions about the service aspect worried me so I just ended up buying the Samsung a670 through my local Radio Shack at $20 less than the Verizon store. So far, I think I made the right choice.
