Phone Number Import/Export
I want a small, well-designed phone without a camera. This looks like it could work, but my other requirement is that I be able to import/export my contacts from my PC to/from my PHONE. Can I do this with this phone?
Thanks for the help.

I ordered the LG VX4600 with the Mobile Office Kit (MOK) a few days ago. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. I might be able to answer that question in a couple of days. I chose this phone BECAUSE it looks like it is possible to do that using the MOK and a freeware software program called BitPim. I sure hope so. I don't look forward to transferring a 400 name phone book one key-peck at a time. 😳

I ordered the MOK with my 4600. I had no problem importing my old phone numbers into the 4600. I just converted outlook contacts and Kyocera (old phone) desktop software contacts to .CSV files. Uploaded into my 4600 with no problems.
So far it does not look like the phonebook module of BITPIM works for the 4600. You can upload ringers and wallpapers with it.

I wasn't able to do it. I exported my Kyocera 6035 phone book to a CSV file, then tried to import it using the Mobile Office Kit import function. Problem is that the various Groups didn't line up properly. I would have ended up having to retype many of the numbers manually, so I'm just reading from the Kyocera Smartphone desktop and typing them into the Mobile Office Kit phone book. There may be a way to transfer them quickly, but I didn't want to spend days figuring it out.
