LG VX-4600

no longer available?

I switched from Sprint to Verizon this week and was told that the 4600 was no longer being sold and that none had shipped for 3 months. From some of these posts however, I see that people have gotten this phone recently. Is this a scam? Any thoughts?

I think you can only get it if you order it thru the website?

Verizon's site still has them up for sale. I got mine from a local authorized dealer who said they were selling quite a bit of them and had another order in for more so there were no indications from them.
