Samsung Convoy 2 Speaker Phone Defect ?
As much as I try to research the features on the Convoy 2, I cannot get a direct answer to the question, "Is the speaker phone on the Convoy 2 full duplex, or only half duplex?" If the answer is "full duplex," I will buy it. If the answer is "only half duplex," I shall not buy it. Is there any way to get an honest answer to my question?

Mellowpaul...yes, it is a full duplex speakerphone and it's very loud. You'll find yourself turning it down! You won't be disappointed with this phone.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but one thing to note is that PTT is inherently half-duplex, so any discussion of full-duplex would only be relevant to phone calls, not PTT.

Thanks Rich, I knew that. PTT is basically a walkie talkie, which is why people always say "OVER" when they have finished talking and are ready for the other person to talk. I have the first version of the CONVOY, which is sitting in my closet. I could not use it because pieces of the conversations were always getting chopped off, since it is definitely Half Duplex. Dollars to donuts the Convoy 2 is also Half Duplex. Too bad, because otherwise is a nice phone.
