Why wouldn't you want to use two apps at the same time, or browse two web pages at the same time? I can think of tones of situations where I'd use it.

I can see your point Rich but without a dual core processor, 4g and a front facing camera, I can't see it flying off of shelves.

This is true. I love the idea of this phone... can't imagine it will work very well. If Samsung designed it... or even HTC, Moto, or SE I could see it being something people would want. Plus it would have a fitting processor. I get the feeling there will be a BUNCH of "Force Close" pop ups on this phone. Probably should just say, "You bought a Kyocera. Force Close"

i COMPLETELY agree!! why not focus on improving multi-touch or spend the extra production cost on upgrading the screen quality... or processor... or battery life... or speaker... or hdmi output... or even simply a better camera???? sure, there are a FEW uses for dual-screens, but for (what i'm sure will be) such a high price-point, 2 screens just isn't worth it. thank you, kyocera, for giving a perfect example as to why NOBODY considers you a legitimate phone manufacturer anymore 😁

I agree, this is gimmicky garbage. How about carrying current technology forward? People are going to buy this phone and find themselves pressed to use both screens just because they're there. And with a 1370mah battery how long will it be powered up? Powering the screen is one of the top battery burners in a mobile phone.

I feel like its a shame that a company cant give it a shot with out being told they are illegitimate. Remember HTC 3 years ago was nowhere, now they are killing it.
Personally I invite as many of these manufactures to keep innovating, as it will continue to push the big guys to stay ahead of the curve.

I see what you're saying ... and I agree. Problem is the company ... putting something out that is an obvious bomb waiting to happen. HTC had some great phones and some crap phones when they started. Kyocera ... well, think of one phone compareable to the EVO or even the Aria (POS, but still better). Heck, I'd choose an LG Xenon just for the flash over this phone... or any QMD for any com...
