Motorola v60p / v60s

Motorola says that the V60s can't use the DC600 Bluetooth Adapter, but several other websites (including this one) claim it wotks. What's the truth? I'm tryinng to get my V60s to wotk through a DC600 without much success. My laptop's Bluetooth dongle connects to the DC600, but can't get access granted to use the service.

anyone know if the smart key on the v60s can be used to send a call to voicemail when you notice a caller ID that you don't want to answer?

Anyone verizon user know whats the deal with the samsung a690. Will it ever come out or what? Phonescoop has every feature that it has filled in the blanks when u preview the phone on this site and it even states in the description that its specifically for VERIZON. Whats the hold up verizon or is it samsung to blame? Anyone have any info or an inside verizon connection please share the news on this!!!!!!!!!

😢 I was told that brew did not work on the V60s, bet it states that it is brew capable in the freatures on this page. Does this mean it is a carrier specific feature or was I give false information?

Just wondering how loud the alert tone is on the PTT feature. I was going to purchase this phone but the Rep talked me into an LG4700.

The alert volume on the LG is virtually impossible to hear unless its in your hand.

I am considering exchanging this phone for the V60P but if the same problem exist with the V60P I won't bother.
I am used to a Nextel alert that can be heard from another room.

So I guess what Im asking is:

1. Is the alert tone just as loud as the contant "beep, beep, beep " from the Nextel phone ?

2. Is the alert tone changable ?

Again I need to make a change cause the alert on this LG is terrible.

How do you get multiple numbers under one name entry? Example Under one name Home, Work, cell.

Also is there any way to insert a pause amd wait when dialing a number. I would like to enter my pin in the mailbox number. Noe I have to dial *86 wait foe my voice mail message, hit the # key wait for operator then type in my pin. I would like to have pause and wait in the number so this is done automatically. I had this ability on other phones.

I have been using the workaround described on the 'net (see http://tinyurl.com/5qvd7) to prevent my v60s from going into "dead silent" mode. I was wondering if Motorola and Verizon have released updated software to correct this. My S/W Version is 8610_02.0F.02 and my PRL version is 50203. Should I be making a trip to my local VZW store? I am in downstate NY. Thanks.

I was wondering, since Motorola does not make the V60i or the V60s anymore, and Verizon does not carry these two phones, where can I purchase these phones bran new? Is there a site to go to purchase these phones and find out how much they cost new? Any help will be appreciated, thanks

has anyone been able to find any ringtones for their phone? it looks like the only place is vtext.com. i've tried emailing mid's to phone, but wasnt able to store them.

i know that i can make speakerphone calls with the flap down, but is there any ways that i can receive calls with the flap down too???

The plastic side panels on my V60s creak when little pressure is applied to them. The keypad also creaks in some places while in use, usually at the top. I was wondering is my phone is just a defective unit or do all of them have cheap plastic?

Hey guys, i just bought the v60s like 3 days ago, and i saw on the menu , for settings for the phone, that it says its mp3 ready, do u guys know how ta use it, or make it work, and by mp3 ready, can u have acctual songs, or just for ringtones, THANKS , :pasha 😎

There is a new v60p firmware upgrade just released from Motorola on 7/31/04. It has only a one second delay in connecting.

does the v60s have a daily alarm?

my t720 phone died this morning for good, so I have 2 questions:

1. I was wondering how everyone felt about this phone. im thinking of getting a cheap one on ebay temporarily until the new v710 comes out...because I dont want to buy and new phone and waste my upgrade on a phone I wont want when the v710 comes out. so thoughts? how is the speakerphone? im not asking about the push to talk option, but the speaker phone, mostly for car usage. I can just put it down on my seat with speaker phone on and talk away right??

2. for VZW employees. my phone is through a corporate account (my fiances), if I buy one off ebay, will I be able to hook it up even with a corporate account? or do they give temporary loaners?

Can anyone tell me if the antenna on this phone is stationary or does it pull up? - I know alot of people who had variations of this phone, and always had issues with the antenna snaping off or breaking, due to it's being so flimsy. - Has Motorola/Verizon fixed this problem. - I know on the V60P, the antenna is a non-pull up type. - Please email to:
