Motorola v60p / v60s
v60s "no ring" problem
I have been using the workaround described on the 'net (see http://tinyurl.com/5qvd7) to prevent my v60s from going into "dead silent" mode. I was wondering if Motorola and Verizon have released updated software to correct this. My S/W Version is 8610_02.0F.02 and my PRL version is 50203. Should I be making a trip to my local VZW store? I am in downstate NY. Thanks.

Just keep all of the key beeps set above 0, but yes, there is a newer software version.
