HTC EVO V 4G / EVO 3D (CDMA)
wheres the hdmi output?
I've seen video footage of this phone and in none of them have I seen a kickstand OR an hdmi output!

The specs say it works thru the micro usb and wirelessly through DLNA.

HTC has somehow managed to make it possible to connect HDMI and micro USB through the same port. Whats more the phone apparently can charge through HDMI as well as USB and HDMI output mirrors what is on the phones display instead of just working when the video player is active.

gotcha and awesome, I'm looking at the phone and thinking "why did they leave the hdmi off of the phone" I guess they didn't. pretty surprising but it looks like its another cable to buy as the hdmi that worked on the Evo doesn't work with the Evo 3d

You have to to either...
1- Buy an MHL compatible cable where one is micro-USB and the other end is HDMI.
2- Buy an MHL adaptor that has HDMI, and a micro-USB port as well.
I don't think there are many cables even out yet in the US, but Sprint is selling the official HTC MHL adaptor.
