EVO 3D Vs Nexus S 4G
Which do you think is better? Will HTC fix the horrible battery issue with the current EVO? I have the current EVO and really really like the 3D from what I have seen so far. But I love the Amole screen on the Nexus S, but dont know which one to get.
The 3D will have a 1750 mAmp battery compared to the 1500 that the first EVO came with. With that be enough to handle the larger processor and the 3D feature?

Horrible battery issues? People put horrible settings/apps on their phones that led to battery issues so that's a different issue altogether. A typical day on my Evo gets me 12-16 hours on a single charge. That's not bad considering the phone is more a mini-laptop that makes phone calls.
I think the Evo3D is going to be an awesome device but I think the same is true for the Nexus 4G though I trust Samsung less overall as a manufactuer. It should be running a bare-bones version of 2.3 w/out all the bloatware and to me that's a good thing. In the end only time will tell.

I work for Sprint and was in a training seminar today...I was able to get my hands on both the Nexus S and the Evo 3d. Both are amazing phones although, the Nexus apparently will be the phone to have as it is going to be released running 2.3.3 which is the most updated version of gingerbread. I really liked the Evo 3d, but unfortunately I have to admit that the picture/camcorder when in 3d mode almost gave me a migrain...which hurts to say being a current Evo user who was swearing up and down that I would get the 3d upon release.

What about the feel of the phones. Did they both feel like plastic our cheap materials were used?
Can you describe which one had the better screen?
I don't exactly like down grading from 8mb camera to 5mb. Before anyone says it, the second camera will be turned off in 2d mode so it will not be like using 2 5mb cameras together.
The reviews have also confirmed the headache issue with the 3d screens, that worries me.

Personally, I'm more excited about the update to the SensuUI (v3.0) than the added 3D functionality. The 3D will be fun for a little while (headaches & all!) but, I'll probably rarely use it. For me and what I expect from a phone is the experience when using it. So, a phone's user interface can make it or break it for me. I really love HTC's SenseUI, so much so....that when I check out other Android or iOS phones, I tend to find them boring.
The quality of the camera lens is much more important than the resolution of the camera. If you happen to be trading a slightly lower resolution cam for a better lens...that's a good trade. I've seen many lower rez cam's outperform higher rez cam's simply because of a higher quality lens. Question is....

I'm more excited on the dual core processor, the added ram, the double on board storage. I've updated my evo to the 2.3 version and like it. i'm not thrilled about the camera change but better cpu and more ram is more important. here are two links:

The specs of the EVO 3D here on PS show that the EVO 3D is also getting Android 2.3.3, is that not correct?
Also, won't the EVO 3D have a Super-LCD screen (which apparently has a better display configuration than the AMOLED's)?
