Repairing Sprint Treo 600 Broken Screen
I recently purchased a Treo 600 and 3 days later broke the screen. I am more than willing to pay the repair cost of $179 butHandspring does not repair Treo 600 and 300 phones on Sprint service, they sent me to Sprint. Sprint said they don't fix phones. Has anyone run into this and did you get it fixed?
By the way I purchased the phone and an extended warranty at Best Buy but the extended warranties no longer cover broken screens.

This is the #1 resource for Treo info. Post your question there.... I have seen nemerous posts of Sprint Treos being repaired (under warrentee). I think you're just getting the runaround.

Thanks for the note, but here is what I have learned since, please pass it on. Handspring/Palm One finally replied and informed me that Sprint purchased the "repair rights" to the Treo 300 and 600. Further they reprimanded me ans said, "you should have purchased their extended warranty" Well I purchased the unit from Best Buy and guess what they didn't bother to try and sell me Sprint's replacement program, just their own, which no longer covers broken screens by the way (they didn't tell me that either). Sprint absolutely says they don't repair broken phones but I could take it to Radio Shack!??? Well the up shot is Sprint wanted the warranty business, hence the repair rights. Only problem is no one bothered to inform Best Bu...
