Motorola V300

Scratched External Display & Trim Around Display

I have a serious scratch on the front external LCD display and the silver trim around the display on my very, very favorite motorola v300. Besides sending it back to motorola and paying $75 to get it fixed, does anyone have any suggestions? The phone works fine, but I am just sick about the scratch. I haven't even had the phone for 6 months.

Isn't there that scratch repair kit on TV for glasses? That might work. I ordered it but can't use it my glasses because of the anit-glare, you could try that? I have no idea what the number is but a search on the net may find you the number?

I would try rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. I have seen it remove many scrathes on CD's. Try it.
