mp3 file type not recognized/corrupt
ive been trying to upload mp3 ringtones to my v300 but i either get a file type error or corrupt file error.
ive uploaded the file in the proper format (mp3 @ 64kbps) to various websites and have attempted to access the file via the phones wap browser.
i also tried transferring the file via my data cable with my mobile phonetools 2.x program. this method transferred the file w/o incident but upon playing the file on my phone, i am told that the file is corrupt.
can anyone offer any advice?? thanks!

I have the same problem. There is a way to send the ringtones to your phone via MSN messenger or sending a text message to your phone containing the link to the clip u want as a ringer. I can download the file w/o incident, but upon playing the file, i get a message saying that the file type is not recognized. i've converted the file to 32kbps, the same as the default mp3 ringers that come with the phone, but i still get the same message. any help would be apreciated.
tagtag.com only has the polyphonic ringtones...
