USB cable and Phone Tools
😢 Can someone please help me. I just purchased the USB cable connection for my V300, the program is installed (Phonetools 2.0) But for some reason the software will not transfer pics or ringtones. Can someone help, I only get 1-2 bars of signal next to my computer in my basement. Could this be the issue, or what am I doing wrong? Thanks for help If anyone can.

Ok cool, and thanks... Do you know how to cut an MP3 into sections to transfer to my phone? It just takes lots of memory to get a whole song, and further more, to listen to an entire song, your VM would kick in before it's done, and chances are you would pick up before the end anyways. I just wanna know how to get 30 secs of MP3, and transfer t device. Help if ya can.. and thanks again ace...

np skatty....
First of, ur going to want to lower the BPS on the song...to do this i recommend using musicmatch...going to file...convert file...and then move the little slider on the bottem to like 56 bps...that sounds good but reduces the size tremendously...
2nd...to cut it i use mp3 direct cut....search for it on download.com....kinda tricky but once u figure it out...its great...
suggestion...when using this program...cut ur song and then click file...save selection!

WINDOWS XP is incompatible with Mobile Phone Tools but sometimes you must ignore that warning, it will install the device driver.
