hi every one, i live in the Los Angeles area, and i just got 4 free v300s with a 4 lines $89.99 family plan from t-mobile,one year contract, what a nice phone!! I only payed $40 and i'm will be receiving a $400 rebate. This sales person really gave me a good deal for christmas.

What format are the downloadable polyphonic ringtones? Are they MIDI?

Anybody know if Motorola updated the software or hardware on this model. I can literally flip the screen open and closed and the screen will go off/on after I have stopped. Depending on how many times I open/close it the software will try to catch up and continue to make the screen go off/on until done.

Motorola replaced my C333 once before for free, shipping and everything was covered and I am hoping they can do this again. I would call them but I keep forgetting.

I have this phone and of course it's LOCKED. I have an unlimited plan with Cingular and want to use that sim card with my Tmobile phone. If anyone has the codes and wants to share, please get in contact with me.

I was informed this phone has a slow processor. The rep. told me this is the problem that happens when you stuff technology

Anyone know if this is possible? Record 10-15 sec of your wanted song on voice recorder and convert it over to ringer? I've read of it but not sure if it can work on this phone. Thx in advance.

I am thinking about buying this phone and I would like to know the pros and cons of it? What do you think?

I just got this phone today, and was really looking forward to the picture caller id.

If the phone is OPEN and I receive a call, the picture shows up.

If the phone is CLOSED and I open the phone, the picture isn't showing up.

If you have a picture assigned to a number, and your phone is closed when it rings, can you make that picture show up when you open the phone?

can this phone connect to the computer with a usb cord. if it can will it connect by a normal usb cord or do i have to buy a special one.

I have a serious scratch on the front external LCD display and the silver trim around the display on my very, very favorite motorola v300. Besides sending it back to motorola and paying $75 to get it fixed, does anyone have any suggestions? The phone works fine, but I am just sick about the scratch. I haven't even had the phone for 6 months.

The useless Motorola V300 manual does not have anything in it on how to assign a phonebook entry to my voice to enable voice dialing! Please help. 👿

I just got my V300 yesterday. Was wondering if there is a way to see missed calls vs. just received and dialed. My old V66 showed missed calls, so I am surprised to see that the V300 doesn't have this.

I tried sending a picture at 640x480 to my friend with a V600. He received the picture at a smaller resolution (176x132). Is this normal for (motorola) camera phones to shrink pictures to send them? The same thing happened sending a pic from a C650 to my V300...

I just dropped my v300 and the lcd on the outside broke..What should i do? 😢
