D415 Download Video to Computer...
To preface this post, I would like to say that I have spent about 5 hours looking for a solution to no avail, and I am now shamelessly desperate.
My problem is this - I simply cannot manage to transfer ANY of the videos I have taken with this phone to a PC. I have purchased the data cable and have been happily transferring my pictures, phonebook and text messages to my computer... but the videos will not cooperate. The folder where they should be (in EasyGPRS, for example) is just blank. The picture folder right above it shows all my pictures, but the video folder is empty, despite the 20+ videos on my phone. Did it. The only way to do it is to email it to yourself.
And about the white screen... I replaced the LCD cable and it works like a charm.
Also - I noticed that if you activate the LCD screen BEFORE sliding up the phone, (hold down the 2 volume buttons) the screen works! You have to unlock the keypad by holding down the unlock button, but if you dont want to replace the cable, this is a workaround for your problem! It may still work if, after you have done this, to slide the phone up and get to the number keypad, but your display may act up a little bit. Give it a try.
