Charging on updated version
I recently bought a Virgin Mobile version of the GS3 (L710T) and read that some GS3's charging ports are breaking easily.
Is this true? How common is this issue with GS3's?

Our two GS3s USB ports are working fine. There have been reports about faulty ports, but if you are careful (push the plug straight in, not from an angle) when connecting the charge cable you will do just fine.
You can also consider wireless charging pads so you don't have to plug in the cable at all. Some people with bad ports use wireless charging instead of repairing their phone. The GS3 will need a receiver pad to work though. Check out Amazon or eBay for these units.
