qi wireless charging?

I just got the note 2 on Verizon and it looks as though the back plate is already qi wireless charging ready...? I haven't been able to actually place it on a charging pad yet to verify but is this the case? Do the Verizon models come with it?

No, it does not ship with qi wireless charging.
What’s more the tabs for the wireless add-on are removed from the Verizon version. If you want to add, it requires disassembly and cutting or soldering to connect. ☹️
