Camera on Samsung SGH-P107
I just got this camera 3 days ago and since the first day it kept "rebooting" itself the majority of the times when I selected View or Take Photo. I like the look and feel of this phone but am seriously doubting its durability. Let's see if it can deliver all it promises.

EXCHANGE this phone immediately. Mine has not rebooted even once after a dozen pictures. You have a lemon for sure.
BTW as you probably know by now the picture quality is horrid on this phone. Not that it bothers me. I'll only use the camera to snap a picture of something at the store to show my wife. No need for perfection. I mean if I could snap a picture of a hot chick walking in front of me I'd want better quality but since this camera makes a warning sound you can't get away with that kinda stuff...

I haven't tried very hard to turn it off but just a quick browse through the manual I couldn't find any way to...

phones like the v400 and v600 can be silenced, but i'm using a p107 right now, and haven't found a way to silence the shutter sound yet...

The Camera does suck big time on this phone. I have had this phone since June of 2004 and it has never rebooted.
