hey, after i notice the web page said the sanyo 5500 came in two colors, i called last week to check when the silver was available and the sprint rep said now (meaning last week). so Monday i was ready to order, i called back an another sprint rep said silver was not available. being confused and been told two different answer, i called again today to see if i would get a yes or no to make sure i got the truth. well the sprint rep today said yes and i order a silver 5500. my best advice is to try a different sprint rep.

I just tried to order one in silver and they are saying that they are no longer taking orders until they can get more in stock. Maybe a week or so.

get this, i was supposed to get the 5500 in silver today so i called to see what time it will be here but for some reason the sprint rep never finish my order. well no biggie, lets just order it again. then the sprint rep said out of stock and next shipment will be in 2 wks. now pissed off b/c i should have it by now, i asked for some kind of compensation and got nothing. not good first impression when switching over from att. just to make sure they were out of stock, i called back an hour later and what do you know they had them back in stock. sprint is not consistent i can tell you that!!!

Well I have been round and round regarding a silver vm4500, finally on Saturday they stated that they had them in stock and I should have mine by Wednesday. My card has been charged so I sure hope I get my card on Wednesday as promised.

I called the sprint sales dept at 888-253-1315 many times before someone actually stated they had them in stock.
