Sanyo SCP-5500 / VM-4500
Sprint can't activate sanyo 5500 or give cost of plan.
service yesterday trying to find out how much the 2000 minute share a phone plan that includes free minutes starting after 7:00, free
sprint to sprint calls, with vision and readylink on both phones. Each place told me a differnt amount, but they were not sure and told me I would find out after signing a two year contract but I must wait a month to see what the charges will be on my bill. What kind of company operates like this?
I spent over two hours at a sprint store and the sales rep could not find out the price of the service or even activate the account after
calling his manager, two other stores and corporate headquarters. WOW!!!

The 2000 minute plan is $100.00/month. The 2nd line is free and shares minutes with the 1st line. The primary line will get the Ready Link for free every month with any plan $100.00 and above. The 2nd line will get the first 2 months of ready link free and after that it will be an extra $15.00/month. Free night and weekend minutes after 7 P.M. is $5.00 extra/month for all lines for customers with a 2 year contract. I am not exactly sure how much vision will cost if any for that 2nd line my 2nd line has free vision (I believe the 2nd lines still get free vision with the $100.00 plan so therefore it would only be $15.00/month for ready link after the 2 month grace period). Unlimited PCS-PCS is only av

So far, I've called sprint 3 times, visited best buy and costco. That makes 5 different reps I've talked with. I've gotten different and conflicting answers for almost everything on:
50% roaming rule and how it works.
What actually constitutes roaming. Some say there are no roaming fees in my home area period, others say 50% rule on usage, others say 50% rule on plan minutes, others say roaming always costs but you can buy 50 expaneded cocverage minutes for $5.
Cost of additional line(some say free, some say free for only 3 months).
Cost of readylink
Availability of readylink. Some say it won't be availble in my area ever, others say soon, and yet others say no...

I got to make a correction, add-a-phone is FREE for 2nd line of service for plans w/ 2000 mins or more, which starts at $100. So this is still good then. This is the only correction I need to make. I have also heard that SMS won't cost extra either, it will be FREE if you unlimited web. I can't wait until this rows out approx 1 week from now. Mid DECEMBER is the due date =)
I got to make yet another correction. I think I made this point on other posts already, but just in case someone is reading this for the first time. Ready Link is free on plans over 100 bux. Vision is free for plans over 100 bux. I don't know if you get free vision on the 2nd line though, you need to ck. I thin...

I bought two 5500 phones yesterday at Best Buy.
I told the sprint rep about all the problems I was having with lack of pricing knowledge. He took my info and said it would take an hour. Two hours later he called me while I was having dinner next door. He said to come over the phones were ready for activation.
Here is the scoop:
2000 minute plan, two phones, no activation fees (used wifes old account), pcs to pcs free, free minutes after 7:00, with vision and ready link on both phones for $105 a month. In addition, he gave me $18...
