internet configurations from cingular network

I was hoping if a very knowledgeable person would know how to configner the p900 to use the internet on the Cingular network.

found this phone on ebay for $40.00!?!?!?

i found this phone on ebay for $40.00!!! almost sounds to good too be true...live in the u.s., does it work on cingular??? 😳

Wi-Fi???

Does anyone who has this phone wish it had Wi-Fi??? Would you wait for a phone that had it, like the HP 6315? How slow is the internet connection on the p900? 🙄

anybody know when the P910 will be released? it says that unlike the P900 it has GSM 850 does this mean that its release will be here in the U.S. and if so then who do you think it will be with? Any guesses Anyone??

😳 being that i am very well informed with cell phones i beleive it is safe to say that t-mobile would be the best carrier to dela with the p900 with because the frequency that the phone works on i personnaly love the phone but know for a fact that att wireless is not getting the phone due to the frequencies that it works on and due to the fact that the chrome in the antenna is said to be giving problems with reception

I cannot find SIM cards for sale on AT&T's website. Do they have them? Or will the AT&T stores sell them?

When will AT&T have this?

They discontinued the P800 a while back, however this phone is still not available to purchase for AT&T Wireless. With the delay in the v600, is this being delayed too? I know it can be purchased on Sony Ericson's website but it doesnt have any rebates. Any ideas????? thanks

Use in USA?

Does anyone use this phone in the US? If so, what is call quality/reception? I am in Ohio with ATT.

Also, will an unlocked Global version work or does it have to be a US released version? Want to buy one, but need these questions answered first. Thank you in advance!

p800speaker verses p900 speaker

I heard a comment that the p900 speaker was a little weak as far as pda's go. any comment on that? also is the 800 and the 900 equiped with the same speaker? Also for reading text is the 800 ok? I understand the 900 has tft 65,000 colors as opposed to the 800 having 4,000 and some. I don't care about colors but my eyes aren't so good so I need to have good clear text. good backlighting etc.

P900

I have had this phone since December. It is really great except that AT&T does not support the phone and I cannot get internet/email settings to stay. Anyone having any luck with the config. settings with AT&T for this phone?

I just came back from Africa after using this phone, it was great except that email and web would have Awesome to have.

Process for obtainijnng Service

After purchasing athe p900 or any other unlocked phone, what is the process for obtaining service and which provider is recommended. I am unable to get this information from either Cingular or T mobile sales people, the common answer is "I have never done this before"

Switching from Sidekick to SE P900, need config info

I got a Sony Ericsson P900!!!
(GREAT Phone, BTW).

I need the configuration settings to be able to use GPRS and email. I don't want to leave my Sidekick plan, I want to be able to switch back and forth. If anyone out there can help, will be eternally greatfull. Tmobile's wireless data tiers one and two couldn't help.

Change of language on the P900

Hi
I bought a P900 in Hong Kong for about 500US$
It is working like a dream. The only "problem" is that there is a lot of chineese crap on it, like chineese sign recognicion and such. I tried to download the english language software package from SE site, and installed it, but no change? Is it possible to fix this?

P900 vs Samsung i600

I have two wireless accounts - one with TMobile and another with Verizon so I ma familiar with the comparisons of the networks so maybe I can compare apples to apples.

Does anyone have any experience with the a smartphone like the Samsung i600 that is now using a P900? I am thinking about getting rid of my i600 because of the bluetooth capabliities of the p900?

Any ideas?

Synchronising P900 with Outlook - Advice

Hi
I am considering buying a P900 because i need a new phone but also certain PDA functions.

I will use primarily:

-Calendar
-Tasks
-Email

I have read reviews that you can have problems synchronising the P900 with Outlook and also that it performs very averagely as a PDA.

Please can you give me some feedback if you are a P900 user.

Hi,

I am considering purchasing the P900 but it is critical that is can sync with my lotus calendar. Does anyone know if it can? Is there software I will need to purchase?
