Samsung Tight-Lipped
I'm thinking of this phone for its GSM capabilities. Called and emailed Samsung USA. Wow, are they tight with the info (as in none). The lady was very pleasant but wasn't about to say word one on this phone.
VZW rep did say its on their intranet site, as has been reported here I think, with the words, "Coming Soon!" Big deal.

Just read on a Korean site, that the phone will be available middle of next month according to Samsung.

hi guys.. first time i'm posting.. sorry if this has already been answered 🤠but what is direct fulfilment? i've heard it many times.. i've been looking forward to this phone and want to make sure its available to me (general public)?
also i've gone back and forth.. what do you guys suggest? a790 or v710?.. i've had both samsungs and motorola's and have always liked samsungs better..

I've asked the same question here and other forums. The answer I got is direct fulfillment means the phone is shipped to you from a warehouse. You can't go to the store 'cause it won't be in the store or any reseller. You order the phone online, from 611, or in the store and its shipped to you.
The implication, as I see it, is that the stores won't get "advance notice" by getting inbound shipment info - there won't be any. However, I'm not a VZW employee, nor do I have a friend or relative with that company, so I'm only relaying what I've read and been told.
I would, however, like some more info or confirmation of the 5/28 date!
