Dimensions and feel...
I had a chance to examine a non-functioning, but production, unit at the local VZW store. Since it could not be turned on, I cannot comment on the features. But I can give some insight into the phone itself.
It is WIDE. Almost too wide. It is pretty big for a modern cell phone, and a bit heavy at that. My most immediate comparison is the T730 I own, so it felt bigger and bulkier to say the least. The metal shell is very sturdy, and the phone has a solid feel. When it is closed, both the top and bottom have an inset channel in which there is a slight gap of space - this does not make it very streamlined or form fitting to the hand. Of most concern, I think, I could not tell if the numbers will light up or not.

What part of the world did you see this model? Wouldn't happen to know if all the stores are getting them or just a few? I would like this phone as well but not if its going to be a rock!

The phone is a monster. It's basically two phones in one, kinda like a laptop with 2 motherboards or a classic double from Wendy's. It's the xbox of mobile phones as far as I can tell. It's be ideal for throwing at angry natives in any of those 140 countries. Seriously though, unless you ABSOLUTLY have to have a Global Phone asap, I suggest you wait until after the official launch, by that time, there should be more models available that have a more attractive feel and residential targeted cost.
I'll remind you that it makes my job easier if you people stop trying to find loopholes to get the phone. Even if you manage to trick a rep into ordering one for you, you'll probably end up getting a message from one of our departments 'than...
