Samsung SCH-A790 / SCH-A795 / IP-A790
Where is it?
went to my verizon store today...did not have the A790...is this only available in certain areas..or did they remove it?

I have a fealing you didn't read the other posts before asking the question. 🙂 This is the primary question on all the other posts and it is answered several times. The general gist is this:
Customers, "We want this phone!"
VZW, "Pleasestopaskingwehaventevenannouncedthispho neyet! Late June! Early July! It's coming ASAP!"
Customers, "Thats not good enough!"
VZW (hides under their desks)"Please don't hurt us!"

yeah sorry i don't read all the posts..if you don't mind, can you tell me why it says its availible for Verizon now then?

the phone has been "soft launched" meaning we can sell it through mail order only. I work in the northeast VZW market and this is what I have been told by the management and ops people. So come down and if they say its not available, kick and scream until they actually look into it.

Stores can now accept orders and have it dropped shipped to your door. Many store employees are not yet trained to accept these orders, be patient, some stores will tell you to call the 800- number instead. It took me 90 minutes in the store on Saturday for the store ordering system to accept my order. The 800- number will not accept non-business orders for this phone. Now I wait for it to arrive.
