Keypad lighting - two menu buttons...
This is about the two menu buttons below the display - the ones for Menu and Contacts on your main screen. When my keypad light is on, I have light everywhere except the upper right corner of my keypad - where the top right menu button is. My hangup key is also more dull than other areas.

What are settings as far as back light etc on your phone? I checked mine and the hangup key appeared to be a little dull, but that's looking at it under the lights in my room. Did you turn off the lights and check it in the dark?

Yeah there is definitely less light in the upper right corner - even in the dark. Is the Contacts button (above the hangup key) a bit dim compared to its counterpart on the left? Mine is noticeably.

Every cellphone I have ever had has been like that. The end button has always been especially difficult to see.

The reason the light is not as dark on the hang up key is that it is red and the dial key is green. Also there is more area for the light to pass through on the dial key. The way the key pad is layed out both menu buttons are lit up on the inner edges, this is on all 9900 phones. Hope it helps.

Yeah, it's dull but in the pitch black it is bright enough. Especially with the screen being lit up.
