Reception???
i haven't got it in my store yet, but i've heard it performed really well, no bells and whistles though, but a good basic phone.

We are experiencing a rash of reception issues on this phone that are not due to poor network coverage. We have stopped selling the phone. Nokia is supposedly working on the problem.

I have had this phone since AUgust and have not had any problems whatsoever with it. I have bee all over Texas and to NM and COlorado with it only areas I even noticed any problems with reception was in the mountains which is normal for the area.

Two possible reasons for bad reception with this phone. 1. only 2 GSM frequencies, with services upgrading to newer systems it was bound to fall behind the curve and loose reception, and 2.the age of the phone itself, I had this for a year and in the begining it didn't have much trouble at all with calls being clear... but now? I spent a weekend in baltimore where I got no signal at all for the entire time.
