Cingular doesn't release phones as fast as AT&T because they do more extensive testing (except for the Motorola V400). Once the merger between AT&T and Cingular is completed, "they" will get the best phones you've ever imagined, and have AMAZING coverage.

Agree. Confirmed conclusively today, Cingular will roll out the 6820 in April, when I will make my purchase. From what I read in forums & reviews, Cingular has far better coverage area compared to AT&T.
