outer keypad lock?

is there a way to lock the keypad on the outside like a normal candy bar style phone?

Yes. Push the middle button between the red and green ones down and then press *. You do the same to unlock it. 😉

I didn't realize you could do that, I thought you had to go in and lock the phone. That was my biggest complaint about this phone.

Maybe I should have read the manual 😉
