Here's the link where this phone is on sale on eBay. It's probably an engineers model. I can wait until it's at Cingular to purchase. There's several pictures of it. The Qwerty keypad doesn't light up in the picture--only the screen.

$899 holy crap! If you can wait a month it'll be in the stores. The price should run the same as the V600. The price this person is asking on Ebay is over 2x the cost w/o a contract! 😲

You're right. I was thinking that it would be priced about the same as the V600 as well. It seems to be the same except for this phone has the qwerty keyboard. You can purchase 3 V600's for the price of that a630 on eBay. Besides, there's no manuals or charger with it. More power to the winning bidder!! I like the phone, but not that much that I can't wait. The phone will probably be at Cingular. All of Cingular world phones come unlocked, so it's all good.

While testing the phone, there was one little thing we found out. The camera has no zoom, at least the model we were given didn't. We did bring that issue up to Motorola so hopefully the final version will have it.

Other than that, how was the quality of the phone? Emailing and texting were much easier I'm sure.

Actually a very very cool feature is that you can text message someone and talk to someone else on speakerphone.
