Internet on A630
If i'm not mistaken the internet on the A630 is WAP. Sidekick uses some other protocol which to me is just like sitting on your pc, full color graphics and everything. Wap is just the basic text, right? if thats the case the A630 won't be a true rival of the sidekick. are there any phones where the internet looks like the sidekick?

the Sidekick uses an XHTML browser, which will streamline and reorder a webpage for optimized handset viewing.
the A630 uses good old WAP 2.0 which is a static HTML, non-java styled (but capable-within-reason) browser.
while internet viewing will not be very pleasant on the A630, the speed and power consumption will be more efficient. SMS/IM/email will be faster and the communications focus is retained.
to date, the best application for wireless browsing is NetFront, which is currently the preferred OEM software on many (non-phone, non-PPC) PDAs and is the browser found on Nokia's Series 60 and N-Gage handsets (sorry, "Game Decks").

ok i have a sidekick and use email and AIM more than anything.........will the 630 have AIM?? if so im all over it and droppin TMOBILE cuz thier reception in the DC area SUCKS!!! what other companies will carry the 630? cingular? please say ATT
