Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (GSM)
SD card, cover/case
I'm a planner. The Note 3 will fit all of my wants, needs, and requirements for many things pertaining to work and home. That being said, I would like to be ready to roll when I purchase one from T-Mobile. There seems to be little information on which type of SD card to use. The specs say it can take a 64GB SD card, but those seem to be only SDXC cards, whereas the SDHC max out at 32GB. Can the Note 3 take an SDXC card? Or is it moot and I could buy a 32GB SDHC card for less money instead of paying more for a 32GB SDXC where the speeds aren't perceptible?
Also, I usually get a case to protect all my devices (currently using Galaxy S III T-Mo) and wonder if that should even matter with this phone.

The specs on SDHC cards indicate that the max size is 32GB. 64GB would therefore indicate SDXC card capability. That being said you should be good to go either with a 32GB SDHC initially since the SDXC spec is backwards compatible -- meaning that it can handle SDHC cards.
As far as the Note 3's USB 3.0 capabilities it is backwards compatible to USB 2.0. However, on the business end of the Note 3, it has a two port plug design which allows you to plug in a standard micro USB 2.0 as well as the Samsung USB 3.0 cord. Again, you should be OK with using the Note 3's USB cord on a USB 2 or 3 computer port with no problem.
I'm a case fan myself -- so I would recommend getting a case -- just couldn't tell you which to buy cause I haven't...

Thanks for the reply. I ended up ordering a 32GB SDHC from Amazon for $20 out the door. Should be plenty hopefully.
I do have a 3.0usb laptop so I might utilize the speed there, but rarely do I have to hardwire my equipment anymore with the wireless capabilities that is offered.
I did see a few cases on Amazon, but would really appreciate any feedback on those. Not sure which is which.

I bought the SanDisk SDSDQUA-064G-U46A Ultra 64 GB microSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 for my Note 3, and at purchase bout the flip case so I can see time and notifications. I think the case was somewhat overpriced, and even if I ordered from a cheaper place, it would have been less then $10 difference, after the cost of shipping. Even more so since the TMO store took $5 off the price. Usually I prefer a slip to case where I can take the phone out and use it naked outside of a screen protector. But saw nothing I liked. Might change to one in the end.

ATM I have a folio case on mine that is easy to pop in and out of. I also got the otterbox for it with the holster. Both are nice and sturdy and good for the ride.
