Nokia 6010

I'm a disabled senior citizen & Vietnam veteran living alone, and need to use the speakerphone mode on my Nokia 6010. I can't locate any help with this, even though I searched the Internet and contacted the manufacturer/current supporter. Can someone help me with this?

I hope someone out there in "Ancient Phoneville"can help me! I got my Nokia 6010 through T-Mobile in 2004. It suits my needs, as does STILL having AOL as my IP.
My problem is this; due to being disabled, I MUST use a "Hands-free" device if I want to talk on my phone for any length of time. Every now & then (like right now) I get NO SOUND when I connect my Hands-free device! I haven't dropped it or anything & because I have several Hands-free devices, I try each one (latest is only a week old) & get the same with each one.......NO SOUND! This makes the phone essentially useless to me.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? I've literally searched the Internet for HOURS & cannot find an answer. I don't wish to have another ph...

Seemless switch to Cingular to T-Mobile and back with SIM cards. This phone is well worth the time. Reception is better than any other out there. Top third of the phone is antenna and earpiece... 😁

I have a Nokia 6010. Without me having to call customer service, etc., does anyone know if I can download custom ringtones on it? Specifically (I'm a recording artist, and want to make some ringtones with my and other artists' music), I need to know if it will play REAL music like that. Anyone know? THANKS. Also, is that just an mp3?? Or other format??

I am sure this is in the Nokia 6010 Guide but I can't seem to find the answer. How do you find your own phone number on the phone? What setting is it under? Hope someone knows.

I just got this phone as a go phone from cingular...I was wondering how to get it just to viberate...nothing else...anyone want to help me?

how do you get the message to delete automaticaly right after you send it when it goes back to the text screen and shows what you sent and when you try to send another one it goes to what u sent last

can you check to see if the person you sent a text message to opend or read the message you sent?

Are you able to download ringtons to the Nokia 6010?

Edge is replacing my Nokia 3595 with a Nokia 6010 and I want to know if it's a comparable phone or not or if it is a "cheap" substitute. I realize the 3595 is not a high quality phone, but I don't want to be short changed with a lesser phone.

and I'm interested in finding a case for this
phone I have checked the websites for
both T-mobile and nokia and I seem to
think the cases they sell seem to be priced
too high..
any suggestions where I can find a cheaper

Has anyone figured out which data cable can be used for this phone? I've looked around the net, but there's nobody selling a data cable specifically for this model.

I've read that the 6010 is just a repackaged version of the Nokia 3595(?). If this IS true, would a data cable for the 3595 work for the 6010?

Yes....T-Mobile will be carrying it...and YES...I mean T-Mobile USA and just as the specs on this site say.

So details to follow later on what T-Mobile USA will handle the GSM 850 frequency and 'who' they will be roaming with.

I think this is because some contacts are on the sim and some are in the phone, but I'm not sure. Where do they need to be for it to say the person's name when it rings. I downloaded the PDF on this phone but I couldn't find it.

My store just received some marketing packs for the Nokia 6010. From the two user reviews, I'm assuming it's a good phone. Does anyone know about it's availabilty with Cingular? I work in an agent store for Cingular and I'm wondering if we will, in fact, be selling this phone and when. 😲

...that Circuit City has the mind to carry this phone. We've really dropped the ball in regards to Nokia. Right now we have not one Nokia. Not even the 3595. I'm hoping we wise up and get the 3660, 6010, and 6610i soon.
