Is it just me, or does this phone look like a Samsung clone. Check out the keypad layout. V205 users will know what im talking about. Kinda shameful if you ask me....

The V205 has a relatively distinctive keypad - I don't think it looks anything like this. The V205 is unusual because the keys all touch.
But, I think I know what mean. I wouldn't say it's a Samsung clone, but many Korean phones do look pretty similar these days. This is a Korean company. Samsung, LG, Maxon, and Telson are all Korean, (and there are loads more smaller companies). Most phones in Korea right now are a dual-display clamshells like this - all with pretty similar keypad layouts.

I think in my haste to post a comment on this particular phone, my inital distaste for it got the better of me. But, looking over the phone and the maker (an unknown to me) has got me thinking about something else. I think it's good that these companies are releasing phones. Even if some design elements are clearly taken from other manufactures, this enables some of the bigger companies to be more inventive with their products. This also gives us users more choice in a market that is dominated by the big boys like Nokia and Motorola.
