Audiovox CDM-8910 / PM-8912 / Flasher V7

Is the external display color on Audiovox 8910?Please reply!!!!!!!I onley seen it without color and I was thinking if can change it to color display.So please respond about the external display!

I am finding that when I have the phone open and I am using it to talk there is a little squeaking noise, which I'm guessing is from the phone being pushed against my face when I talk..but it happens even if barely any touches and it is quite annoying. I'm hoping that made sense. I only got the phone less than 4 days ago, so I am wondering if this is a stage of all flip phones, or if I should breing it back and get it looked at.

As much as I loathe Verizon's 'GET IT NOW!' service, I opted to use their Sony Realtunes or w/e the hell thing, and downloaded the 'Audio' file, "Pardon Me" by Incubus.

This, does not sound like a damn midi file to me. This sounds like a cropped up mp3.

So, out of curiosity I went ahead to try and crop up an MP3 of my own and sent it to my phone via 3gupload.

3GUpload converted the mp3 to .mid extention, and the ringtone can hardly be heard. It plays, but VERY low (And I BLASTED The volume on this thing when I Cropped/Created it).

My question is this, can this phone use MP3 Ringtones? I'm pointing to yes, given the quality of this 'pardon me' ringtone I downloaded.

If so, How the hell can I Actually MAKE some of my own and ge...

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what color the keypad lights up on the virgin mobile audiovox v7 flasher.. and i was also wondering if it was a good phone or not?

I have a friend who owns this phone. She says it's incredible and I was thinking of getting one. The only thing I can't stand about it is the puke green keypad color! 😕 I heard that this could be changed by getting a new bulb or something. Can anyone confirm this?

Does anyone know why the download cable and cd's say not for Verizon? Is Verizon blocking the picture downloads in order to force you to use the fee based downloads?

If so has anyone hacked this yet?

I was curious, if i have someone pics for caller id, will it show up on the external screen or is it just on the inside screen.

I recently saw a picture of the Flasher V7's keypad, and it's like a very lime green color!

Does the keypad's color look that bad in person too? And one more thing! Is the screen that light? Seems a little difficult to see.

I'm considering buying the CDM-8910 for verizon. Can somebody who has the phone tell me if the camera is any good?

I have the 8910 but what does the flasher do is it the same thing??? 😳

I've been researching into Virgin Mobile's Audiovox Flasher V7, and have come to the conclusion that it seems like the PERFECT phone for me.. But I have one problem!

I LOVE navy blue, but I've seen some pictures of the navy blue phone, and it looks PURPLE to me!

So, for any of those who have it, is it more purple than blue? Am I better off getting the silver? I DO NOT want to end up with a PURPLE CELL PHONE! Haha. The silver one looks cool too 😁

I was considering upgrading to the 8910 (Verizon), but the Verizon web site does not show the "Mobile Office Kit" as an option. Yet it says "Internet Ready" and says that it can do "1x".

Anyone know what's up with that?
