unable to set mp3 ringtones
i am unable to set mp3 music as a ring tone for my fone Nokia 6620. i get an incompatible forma error. i have no idea on how iam supposed to solve this issue. please help!!!!

Good luck. The first 6620 I had you could use mp3's, then I had to get a XBM replacement and they changed the firmware or something. It sucks. You can use wav files or something but from what I understand they don't sound as good.

If you have the Cingular version of the 6620, the updated OS does not allow the phone to play Mp3's as ringtones. To get around this, you can save a music file on your CPU, but change it into a MIDI format. Once you do that, save it onto your memory card and you're good to go. However, make sure that you compress the file size first, if not you'll use up alot of your memory fairly quickly.
