V710 or V600...which one??
But, I guess this is a little off-topic for this forum.... I can't wait till the mot v710 and the lg vx8000 are out 🙂
All that 1x EV-DO means is that you get fast data speeds in certain areas and not much else.
GSM should be getting slightly better in the reception department, in the coming year. As AT&T/Cingular finishes moving TDMA users to GSM and using the 850 bands for GSM instead, GSM will have the wall-penetrating abilities of Verizon's CDMA network, assuming your phone supports those bands. The thing to remember is that GSM is an excellent, well-thought-out standard except that CDMA does a better job of sending your signal over the radiowaves (but they didn't bother with nifty things like SIM cards)

All depends on what you value.
The v710 "probably" has a better camera in general (more pixels, flash, etc) However, if you really care about camera quality, you'd have a "real" dedicated digital camera anyways. The v710 will also apparently do video.
v600 has J2ME, v710 has BREW. I'm not sure how locked down the J2ME is, but BREW is heavily locked, if that's important to you.
v600 is GSM and v710 is CDMA 1xRTT. This is a big difference. For a variety of reasons going back in history, CDMA goes through walls better and can carry more calls per cell, plus it's faster than GSM for data, if you are in a 1xRTT area. If you travel outside of the...
