bigheadbuddha,
does the v710 have a email client built in like the v600 with AT&T that supports POP3 and IMAP4? It appears that Moto has changed the specs from having emial client to not having client. Any insight on what Verizon and how they will handle POP3 and IMAP4 mail?

Thanks!!

Will the V710 have a function key on the side like the V60 had? Thanks

According to PhoneScoop:

"Side Keys: up/down, smart keys on left side / voice key on right"

So, yes.

That's why I have an iPAQ with bluetooth. Once I get this phone then I'll be able to dial up at any time and get my email using the built-in Outlook of my iPAQ 😛

That is what I plan to do during the week, but on weekends I do not want to carry my PDA. I would be convenient to be able to briefly check e-mail via my phone handset. The v600 from AT&T supports an embedded e-mail client (I have an e-mail from AT&T to support this). If Verizon makes the decision not to do the same I will switch to AT&T and choose the v600. I can not understand why Verizon introduce a phone rich in features and then the e-mail client--to increase profitability of the phone?
