Well I just checked the item, and sure enough E-bay withdrew the auction. Something I learned about E-bay, is that if a seller, only takes western union he is a con artist. The reason being it is very difficult for the thief to be tracked down. If the thief uses Pay-pal, the buyer has protection. Hopefully nobody took this guy up on his offer. I think it was pretty cool that so many people in this forum worked together, to get this fake auction taken down. This is the first time I have actually made a post. I usually get upset about how everyone rants and raves about when this phone will come out, it is pretty cool that so many people worked together to get this fake auction ended.

I emailed earlier in the day and got a different autoresponse. When I asked more about the inability to use PayPal, he said that he didn't "have access" to his PayPal account since he was in Romania. Sounded fishy at the time, now he talks about a withdrawal limit. Scam. Hell, the accessories he's offering with the phone almost = $399. There is NO WAY that this could be real.

OK- HERE'S THE DEAL:

If it's Western Union, it's a SCAM .(PERIOD)

You have 0% NONE-ZILCH recovery from ANY Western Union transaction. Pay Pal is also VERY LITTLE HELP!!

ALSO: Beware of anything but ESCROW.COM.
There are even PHONY escrow fronts out there run by the scammers.
