The class to whom this notice is being sent consists of all present and former customers of Verizon Wireless who activated Verizon Wireless cellular service for a Motorola V710 cellular handset on or before January 31, 2005.

GEEEZ. 90 MORE DAYS!!@@##$#%@#$.. we are waiting forever for this. My freakin v710 phone battery is literally dying in half a day.. have to constantly charge it. ERRRR HURRY UP HURRY UP.

HAHAHAH, MINE TOO!!!! I have to charge it like twice a day. It's a big mess! I doubt it'll take the full 90 days. Hopefully it'll be worked out in a month max.

i hate this phone so much...I am so close to saying screw it and get my NE2 and get the lg9800 my friend will give me a $100 discount so its free...Not sure if its worth waiting for the refund and get a better phone...I paid 450 for this thing retail seems like such a waste

Do not buy an E815 as replcement for a V710. The E815 has the same defective charging port as the V710.

Buy a V325 instead it has a new charger port (mini USB), much more reliable.

I thought I was the only one that had issues with the charging port! It sucks on the V710. It usually charges, but sometimes the phone will turn on and say UNABLE TO CHARGE. Then, if you take it out and put it back in, it will say CHARGING. Then, when u turn it off without unplugging the charging cable, the phone turns on again and says UNABLE TO CHARGE. Its soooo annoying sometimes.

i just did a warranty exchange on my v710 and they gave me a new crappy v710. all the problems that have been mentioned on this site have happened to my phone. i cant wait to get my settlement paper back so i can cancel the contract with no penalty. cingular is so much better than verizon. i have a crappy loaner phone right now with cingular because i sold my cingular phone and this loaner is a crappy sony and it works better than the v710.

Anyone know if we will get a new NE2 date with the phone exchange or not? They have waited so long to process this deal that I will be just a few months from my NE2 credit kicking in. Assuming I swap my V710 for a RAZR in April, would I be eligible to use my $100 credit on another phone 4 months later? If they reset your NE2 date, they are basically resigning you for 2 more years without the benefit of that potential $100 credit.
